Here are a few things that you didnt know about Trinity NC!

The Town of Trinity: named after Trinity College,  The town charter was ratified April 12, 1869, but the charter was rescinded in 1924. Everything then around that time frame in the community was measured from the college.  So the college was the official as well as the unofficial centerpiece of the town.

The City of Trinity is where Duke University was born,  originally called Brown’s Schoolhouse. Started Around1838, it took on the name Trinity College in 1859, and in 1892 They moved it to Durham where the name was changed to Duke University. The City of Trinity is not far away from the Furniture Market of High Point which is the largest furniture industry so far even though talks about a Vegas Market are possible.  In 1997 the city was re-incorporated.

Today Trinity has some sewer projects active, Building has started again and lots of activity going on in the city council!
